Imago offre une place particulière aux artistes imprimeur·e·s de la relève en offrant, depuis 1996, la bourse Imago à un·e candidat·e ayant obtenu son baccalauréat en arts visuels à l’Université Mount Allison ou à l’Université de Moncton au cours des cinq (5) dernières années. Cette bourse de perfectionnement offre l’occasion d’approfondir une recherche en estampe et de continuer une production au Nouveau-Brunswick. Le·la·li récipiendaire de la bourse Imago monte une exposition solo à la Galerie Sans Nom au Centre culturel Aberdeen avec un cachet CARFAC. L’exposition aura lieu à l’automne l'année suivante.
Le·la·li candidat·e doit:
avoir reçu un baccalauréat en arts visuels de l’Université de Moncton ou de Mount Allison University dans les derniers cinq (5) ans avant la demande;
présenter une majorité de travaux en estampe dans son application;
pouvoir travailler de façon autonome en estampe;
pouvoir travailler en atelier de façon régulière pendant l’année correspondant à la bourse.
La bourse comprend:
une année d"adhésion à l'atelier (valeur de 350$)
10 heures de suivi avec la technicienne et orientation technique de l’atelier;
un minimum de trois rencontres avec un comité mentor formé d'artistes professionnels;
un budget de matériaux de 500$;
une exposition solo comprenant un cachet CARFAC l’année suivant la bourse.
Votre dossier doit inclure:
Biographie et curriculum vitae à jour décrivant vos compétences en estampe (max. 2 pages);
démarche artistique (max. une page);
une lettre d’intention et/ou une proposition de projet incluant des détails sur les techniques d’estampe que vous utiliserez pour votre projet (max. deux pages);
8 à 10 images numériques d’oeuvres récentes en estampe;
liste descriptive incluant le titre, le médium, la taille et l’année de création de chaque image;
une lettre de recommandation (facultatif).
Les dossiers doivent être soumis en un seul document PDF par courriel à direction@atelierimago.com avant le 1er mai 2026.
Les dossiers seront évalués par un jury d’artistes professionnels et les résultats seront communiqués par courriel en juillet 2026.
Les dossiers incomplets ne seront pas considérés par le jury.

Submissions will be reviewed by a jury of professional artists and the results will be communicated by email in July 2026.
Incomplete applications will not be considered by the jury.
Imago is focused on promoting and supporting emerging printmaking artists by offering, since 1996, an annual bursary to a candidate who has earned their Bachelors in Visual Arts from Mount Allison University or l’Université de Moncton within the past five (5) years. This grant includes a one-year membership, 500$ in materials and a chance to hone their technical skills and develop their practice in New Brunswick. At the end of the project, the recipient holds a show at the Galerie Sans Nom and receives a CARFAC artist fee. This solo show takes place in the fall of the following year.
The applicant must:
have obtained a visual arts bachelor’s degree from either Université de Moncton or Mount Allison University in the past five (5) years preceding their application;
present a portfolio with mostly works in printmaking;
be able to work autonomously in the studio;
be able to work in the studio at a regular pace during the full year corresponding to the bursary.
The Grant includes:
One year membership at Imago (value of 350$)
10 hours of technician help and studio orientation;
a minimum of three (3) meetings with a consulting committee formed of professional artists;
a budget of 500$ to spend on printing materials;
a solo exhibit in the following year which includes a CARFAC artist fee.
Your submission must include:
An artist resumé and bio that includes details about your experience in printmaking (max. 2 pages);
Artist statement (max. 1 page);
a letter of intent or a project description that includes what techniques you wish to work with in the studio;
8 to10 digital images of recent works in printmaking with a detailed list describing each image (title, medium, size and year created);
a referral letter (optional).
